I was very impressed by the beauty of the hotel and staff at the Palau dels Alemanys. The hotel has a historical past including a Roman wall. My room was the Suite Els Festejadors and much more than I expected from my Hotels.com pictures. The small kitchen had the basic amenities including water and coffee. The living room was spacious and allowed me to relax. And the bedroom was very large and the bed comfortable. I enjoyed the morning after I arrived to see so many historical buildings from my windows - what a joy. The management were great as they gave me a tour and told me the history of the building. The hotel is located within steps of many of the sights in Girona.

I wish I could give this more stars. Where to start: location, service, accommodation, everything was perfect. It's a boutique hotel with owners/staff that really show they care about every detail. I generally like staying in old hotels/houses/castles, and they exceeded my expectations. It's modern where you need it, but old where you want it. What I did not expect was how fantastic the location was. You cannot do better. Really, it's perfect. Perfect experience, perfect staff/owners/hosts, perfect everything. DO NOT MISS.

We had wonderful 2 weeks in this extraordinary 14th century apartment. You feel the history. The Palau dels Alemanys is a unique place. Service and location were excellent. Sarah and Carlos have been very kind and helpful all the time. During check in they give you a very nice introduction regarding the history of the building. We stayed in Girona for road biking. The place is very convenient to start your tours, although the climb to the old town can be challenging. Good training anyway ;-)). Girona is a beautiful town with nice old buildings and squares and very good restaurants. The surroundings are marvelous.

L’edifici, declarat Bé Cultural d’Interès Nacional, desprèn una màgia especial que es percep des del primer instant. La Sara i la seva parella et fan sentir part d’un espai amb ànima, i l’arribada inclou una breu però captivadora introducció històrica de la ciutat, que t’ajuda a connectar amb l’entorn d’una manera molt especial. Ens vam allotjar a la suite del Tinell: preciosa, acollidora i cuidada fins al més petit detall. El tracte és exquisit i tot està pensat perquè t’hi sentis com a casa. Hi vam ser durant Temps de Flors, i no podríem haver triat millor moment. Un lloc on, sens dubte, tornarem.

The room is beautiful, romantic and peaceful. With a perfect blend of modern accommodations & historic value. I loved all the details that show how much passion the owners have to preserve this historic site. They not only want you to enjoy your stay but at the same time they want to share a piece of their history and culture. The tour with Carlos was insightful and helped us to appreciate the many adventures their walls had endured. All the stores and restaurants are within 8-10 minutes walking. The included toiletries were great and we loved trying the traditional “trias” cookies. Sara was so welcoming and even provided me additional Pillows so I could be even more comfortable. A beautiful place to rest and take in the beauty of the walled city. We would definitely love to comeback!!!

L''hotel és un elegant design perfecte complementant les historiques surroundings, i les millors amenities made for truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Every detail seemed carefully crafted to preserve l'essència del lloc while providing modern comforts. The blend of history i luxury was absolutely magnificent, making our stay truly unforgettable. We would highly recommend aquest hotel per anyone looking for unique and memorable experience!
